Dutch Fika's German rye sourdouogh bread is made with organic bolted rye, which gives it a denser texture as compared to the Nordic rye sourdough bread. The rye is stone-milled on the day the dough is made, ensuring that all the nutrients in the rye are also present in the bread.

Dutch Fika's German sourdough rye bread is bulk fermented for 48 to up to 120h (aged sourdough*) prior to shaping and baking. The main ingredients besides our signature sourdough starter, are freshly stone-milled heritage rye, water and salt.
