Specialty bread - sourdough spice/fruit bread
  • Dutch Fika's take on this classic sweet bread, is a sourdough whole wheat bread that uses a mixture of 3 flour varieties in its dough: Ruby Lee '00', Red Fife '00' and Hopi Blue corn.

    To the dough we add cardamom and ginger, as well as sun dried golden and black raisins, cranberries, lingonberries and currants. After fermentation, we fill the dough with a mixture of farm fresh butter and organic fine cane sugar steeped with either cinnamon or cardamom.
